Adam Ackerman joined International Value Advisers, LLC (IVA) in April 2009 as a securities analyst. He covers the media, software/technology, telecom services & equipment, and transportation industries.
Prior to joining IVA, Adam was an associate at Deutsche Bank where he worked from 2006 to 2008 as an equity and credit research analyst for a proprietary trading group. Prior to that, Adam worked for three years as an investment banking analyst at JPMorgan.
Adam earned a B.A. in economics from Cornell University and a M.B.A. from The University of Chicago. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
