Benjamin Mellman joined International Value Advisers, LLC (IVA) in November 2010 as a securities analyst. He covers the aerospace/defense, banking, capital goods, media, real estate, and software industries.
Prior to joining IVA, Ben completed his M.B.A. and helped build quantitative trading systems for six years at RG Niederhoffer Capital Management.
Ben earned a B.A. in American history and physics and a M.B.A. from Columbia University. He passed Level I of the CFA exam.
