John Napolitano joined International Value Advisers, LLC (IVA) in April 2009 as a trader. His primary responsibility is trading the U.S. and Asian markets.
Prior to joining IVA, John was a senior vice president at Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder Advisers, LLC (ASB) and head of trading for the global value investment team from 2004 until 2009. He joined ASB in 2000 as a trader for the global value team.
John began his career at Societe Generale Asset Management Corporation where he served as an assistant trader, operations specialist, and fund accountant for the SoGen Funds. He is experienced in trading equities from the following markets: U.S., Canada, Latin America, Europe, Japan, and the Pacific Rim. John also traded non-equity asset classes including fixed income, currency, gold bullion, and derivatives.
John earned a B.S. in accounting from Fordham University and a M.B.A. from Manhattan College. He held the Series 7 and 63 registrations.
