Simon Fenwick is a founding partner of International Value Advisers, LLC (IVA) and serves as a securities analyst. He covers the aerospace/airlines, consumer products, financials, industrials, precious metals & mining, and utilities industries.
Simon was most recently a senior vice president at Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder Advisers, LLC (ASB), the adviser to the First Eagle Funds, where he worked from 2003 to 2007. He was co-portfolio manager of the First Eagle Gold Fund, and a securities analyst for the First Eagle Global, Overseas, and U.S. Value Funds, together with a number of separate accounts and offshore funds.
Prior to joining ASB, he worked for 10 years as an investment analyst in Australia and the United Kingdom, covering the mining and industrial sectors.
Simon earned Bachelor’s degrees in economics and commerce from The University of Queensland and completed his Postgraduate studies with the Securities Institute of Australia.
