Stefanie Hempstead
Chief Financial Officer

Stefanie Hempstead joined International Value Advisers, LLC (IVA) in March 2008 as chief financial officer. Her responsibilities include maintaining the books and records for the adviser, ensuring the proper valuation of all products, coordinating audits, overseeing the preparation of financial reports to shareholders, monitoring compliance with investment restrictions and guidelines, and ensuring conformity with all applicable accounting and reporting requirements.

Prior to joining IVA, Stefanie was a senior vice president and director of the financial fund administration group at Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder Advisers, LLC (ASB). She also served as vice president and treasurer to the First Eagle Funds, advised by ASB. Stefanie joined ASB in 1998 as a senior accountant.

Prior to joining ASB, she worked as an accountant at Prudential and The Bank of New York.

Stefanie earned a B.S. in accounting from The Pennsylvania State University and a M.B.A. from New York University.
